Pickleball ratings, challenges, and leagues in one place
GlobalRSC gives pickleball players a live Global Pickleball Rating (GPR 2.00–8.00) built from real matches — with club challenges, ladders, and leagues scored rally-style or traditional side-out.
The GPR rating
Your Global Pickleball Rating sits on the GPR 2.00–8.00 scale and moves with every rated match. Singles and doubles are rated separately by play type; recreational games are tracked without affecting your official rating.
Six named skill ranges — from Starting to Elite — put every number in context.
A GPR 4.5 in London is the same skill as a GPR 4.5 in New York — your rating travels with you, club to club, city to city.
GPR measures skill only. Showing up, organizing, and competing build GULS — a separate community-reputation ladder. How GULS works →
How matches are scored
Clubs score pickleball their way — the live-scoring engine supports both modern rally scoring and traditional side-out:
- Games to 11, win by 2 — or to 15 or 21 for tournament play
- Side-out mode: only the serving team scores, with full server rotation and the 0-0-2 start
- Rally mode: every rally scores a point
- Best-of-3 matches by default, configurable per event
Every game is scored live, point by point.

Common questions
What is a GPR rating?
The Global Pickleball Rating is GlobalRSC's pickleball skill rating on the GPR 2.00–8.00 scale. It updates after every rated match, with singles and doubles rated separately by play type.
Can our club use side-out scoring?
Yes. Clubs choose rally or traditional side-out scoring per event — side-out keeps the classic rules where only the serving team scores and each game opens on the 0-0-2 call.
How do I get a pickleball rating?
Join free, join your club (or create one), and record your matches. Your GPR builds from real results — no assessment needed, and casual games are tracked without affecting it.
Does GPR work across clubs?
Yes. A GPR means the same skill at every club on GlobalRSC, so your rating travels with you to ladders, leagues, and tournaments anywhere.
