Privacy Policy

Account and profile data. When you register, we collect your name, email address, username, and default sport. You may optionally add a profile photo, club affiliations, and skill level information.

Match and rating data. We record match results, scores, and the ratings derived from those results. This includes opponent pairings, timestamps, match type (singles/doubles), and any dispute or confirmation actions taken.

Club participation data. We store your club memberships, join requests, admin roles, and participation in leagues, tournaments, and events organised through the Platform.

Usage and analytics data. We collect information about how you interact with the Platform — pages visited, features used, and general usage patterns. This is used to improve the product and is not sold to third parties.

Device and session data. We collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and session tokens for authentication and security purposes.

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and to maintain your preferences. These are essential for Platform functionality and are removed when you log out or your session expires. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We may use analytics tools that set their own cookies to help us understand Platform usage in aggregate. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies will affect Platform functionality.

The Platform includes an AI assistant feature. Conversations with the AI assistant may be processed by a third-party AI provider to generate responses. Do not share sensitive personal information (such as passwords or financial data) in the AI chat.

Conversation content may be retained for a limited period to provide context within a session. We do not use your chat content to train AI models without your consent.

By default, your username, sport, and general rating tier are visible to other users of the Platform. Match results involving you may be visible to your opponent and club administrators.

Your email address, full match history, and detailed analytics are private and not shared publicly. You can review what information is visible to others in your account settings.

• To operate the Platform and deliver core features (ratings, match history, leaderboards).
• To authenticate you and protect your account.
• To communicate with you about your account, matches, and Platform updates.
• To improve the Platform through aggregate usage analysis.
• To enforce our Terms of Service and community standards.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Platform (e.g., hosting, payment processing, email delivery). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
• Club administrators for match results and membership data within their club.
• Legal authorities if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

If you link a federation account (such as DUPR or GTR), we may exchange data with that federation to the extent necessary to perform the linking. You can revoke federation links at any time from your profile.

Content you submit — such as match notes, event descriptions, or profile information — is stored on our servers. You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit does not violate others' rights or our Terms of Service.

Content shared within a club may be visible to other club members and administrators. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our policies.

GlobalRacketSportsCommunity is intended for users aged 16 and over. If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian to create and manage your account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us so we can remove it.

Club administrators who manage junior members are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from parents or guardians as required by applicable law.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Object to or restrict certain uses of your data.
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Match and rating history is retained to maintain the integrity of the rating system; historical data may be anonymised rather than deleted. Session data is removed when your session expires.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
